Today at approximately 12:14 all customers on the CBN South network experienced a brief network outage. This outage was caused by CBN as we were attempting to add a new customer and inadvertently removed power from the South network radio remotely. The outage was notices at 12:16 and service was restored at 12:17.
No other CBN networks were affected.
We sincerely apologize for this error as a change was being made to a test device unfortunately we applied the change to an incorrect IP address thus removing power momentarily from the South network. We will be implementing changes to new install and testing procedures to ensure that this sort of incident does not occur again.
